Galatians 4:6-11

6Because you are sons, 1God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “2Abba! Father!” 7Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and 3if a son, then an heir 4through God.

8However at that time, 5when you did not know God, you were 6slaves to 7those which by nature are no gods. 9But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be 8known by God, 9how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless 1011elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? 10You 12observe days and months and seasons and years. 11I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored 13over you in vain.
