Ezekiel 40:16-36

16There were 12shuttered windows looking toward the guardrooms, and toward their side pillars within the gate all around, and likewise for the porches. And there were windows all around inside; and on each side pillar were 3palm tree ornaments.

17Then he brought me into the 4outer court, and behold, there were 5chambers and a pavement made for the court all around; thirty chambers 6faced the pavement. 18The pavement (that is, the lower pavement) was by the 7side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates. 19Then he measured the width from the front of the 8lower gate to the front of the exterior of the inner court, a 9hundred cubits on the east and on the north.

20As for the 10gate of the outer court which faced the north, he measured its length and its width. 2111It had three 12guardrooms on each side; and its 13side pillars and its porches 14had the same measurement as the first gate. Its length was 15fifty cubits and the width 16twenty-five cubits. 22Its 17windows and its porches and its palm tree ornaments had the same measurements as the 18gate which faced toward the east; and 19it was reached by seven 20steps, and its 21porch was in front of them. 23The inner court had a gate opposite the gate on the north as well as the gate on the east; and he measured a 22hundred cubits from gate to gate.

24Then he led me toward the south, and behold, there was a 23gate toward the south; and he measured its 24side pillars and its porches according to 25those same measurements. 2526The gate and its porches had 27windows all around like 28those other windows; the length was 29fifty cubits and the width twenty-five cubits. 26There were seven 30steps going up to it, and its porches were in front of them; and it had 31palm tree ornaments on its side pillars, one on each side. 27The inner court had a gate toward the 32south; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a 33hundred cubits.

28Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate 34according to those same measurements. 29Its 35guardrooms also, its side pillars and its 36porches were according to those same measurements. And 37the gate and its porches had 38windows all around; it was 39fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide. 30There were 40porches all around, twenty-five cubits long and five cubits wide. 31Its porches were toward the outer court; and 41palm tree ornaments were on its side pillars, and its stairway had eight 42steps.

32He brought me into the 43inner court toward the east. And he measured the gate 44according to those same measurements. 33Its 45guardrooms also, its side pillars and its porches were according to those same measurements. And 46the gate and its porches had 47windows all around; it was 48fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide. 34Its 49porches were toward the outer court; and 50palm tree ornaments were on its side pillars, on each side, and its stairway had eight 51steps.

35Then he brought me to the 52north gate; and he measured it according to those same measurements, 36with its 53guardrooms, its side pillars and its 54porches. And 55the gate had 56windows all around; the length was 57fifty cubits and the width twenty-five cubits.
