Deuteronomy 6:3-9

3O Israel, you should listen and 1be careful to do it, that 2it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in 3a land flowing with milk and honey.

4“4Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the 5Lord is one! 56You shall love the Lord your God 7with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 68These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. 79You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. 810You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as 11frontals 12on your forehead. 913You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
