Daniel 9:21-27

21while I was still speaking in prayer, then the man 1Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision 2previously, 3came to me 4in my extreme weariness about the time of the 5evening offering. 22He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with 6understanding. 23At the 7beginning of your supplications the 8command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are 910highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain 11understanding of the vision.

24“Seventy 1213weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to 14finish the transgression, to 15make an end of sin, to 16make atonement for iniquity, to bring in 17everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and 18prophecy and to anoint the most holy place. 25So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a 1920decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until 2122Messiah the 23Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with 24plaza and moat, even in times of distress. 26Then after the sixty-two weeks the 25Messiah will be 26cut off and have 27nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will 28destroy the city and the sanctuary. And 29its end will come with a 30flood; even to the end 31there will be war; desolations are determined. 27And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of 3233abominations will come one who 34makes desolate, even until a 35complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who 36makes desolate.”
