Daniel 11:33-35
3312Those who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many; yet they will 3fall by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for many days. 34Now when they fall they will be granted a little help, and many will 4join with them in 5hypocrisy. 35Some of 6those who have insight will fall, in order to 7refine, 8purge and make them 910pure until the 11end time; because it is still to come at the appointed time.
