Colossians 2:11-20
11and in Him 1you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of 2the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; 12having been 3buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also 4raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who 5raised Him from the dead. 13When you were 6dead 7in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He 8made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14having canceled out 9the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and 10He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15When He had 1112disarmed the 13rulers and authorities, He 14made a public display of them, having 15triumphed over them through 16Him.
16Therefore no one is to 1718act as your judge in regard to 19food or 20drink or in respect to a 21festival or a 22new moon or a 23Sabbath 24day-- 17things which are 25a mere shadow of what is to come; but the 26substance 27belongs to Christ. 18Let no one keep 2829defrauding you of your prize by 30delighting in 31self-abasement and the worship of the angels, 32taking his stand on visions he has seen, 3334inflated without cause by his 35fleshly mind, 19and not holding fast to 36the head, from whom 37the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and 38ligaments, grows with a growth 39which is from God.
2040If you have died with Christ 41to the 42elementary principles of the world, 43why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to 44decrees, such as,
