Colossians 1:15-23
151He is the 2image of the 3invisible God, the 4firstborn of all creation. 16For 56by Him all things were created, 7both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether 8thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--9all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17He 1011is before all things, and in Him all things 12hold together. 18He is also 13head of 14the body, the church; and He is 15the beginning, 16the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19For 17it was 18the Father’s good pleasure for all 19the 20fullness to dwell in Him, 20and through Him to 21reconcile all things to Himself, having made 22peace through 23the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, 24whether things on earth or things in 25heaven.
21And although you were 26formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now 27reconciled you in His fleshly 28body through death, in order to 29present you before Him 30holy and blameless and beyond reproach-- 23if indeed you continue in 31the faith firmly 32established and steadfast, and not moved away from the 33hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed 34in all creation under heaven, 35and of which I, Paul, 36was made a 3738minister.
