Acts 2:6-11

6And when 1this sound occurred, the crowd came together, and were bewildered because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own 2language.

73They were amazed and astonished, saying, “4Why, are not all these who are speaking 5Galileans?

8And how is it that we each hear them in our own 6language 7to which we were born?

9Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and 8Cappadocia, 9Pontus and 1011Asia,

1012Phrygia and 13Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya around 14Cyrene, and 1516visitors from Rome, both Jews and 1718proselytes,

11Cretans and Arabs--we hear them in our own tongues speaking of the mighty deeds of God.”
