2 Samuel 22:8-16

8Then 1the earth shook and quaked, 2The foundations of heaven were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry.9Smoke went up 3out of His nostrils, 4Fire from His mouth devoured; 5Coals were kindled by it.10He bowed the heavens also, and came down With 6thick darkness under His feet.11 7And He rode on a cherub and flew; And He 8appeared on 9the wings of the wind.12 10And He made darkness 11canopies around Him, A mass of waters, thick clouds of the sky.13From the brightness before Him 12Coals of fire were kindled.14 13The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice.15 14And He sent out arrows, and scattered them, Lightning, and 15routed them.16Then the channels of the sea appeared, The foundations of the world were 16laid bare By the rebuke of the Lord, 17At the blast of the breath of His nostrils.
