25Absalom set 1Amasa over the army in place of Joab. Now Amasa was the son of a man whose name was 2Ithra the Israelite, who went in to Abigail the daughter of 3Nahash, sister of Zeruiah, Joab’s mother. 26And Israel and Absalom camped in the land of Gilead.
