2 Peter 1:4-8

41For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent 2promises, so that by them you may become 3partakers of the divine nature, having 4escaped the 5corruption that is in 6the world by lust.

5Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith 7supply 8moral 9excellence, and in your moral excellence, 10knowledge,

6and in your knowledge, 11self-control, and in your self-control, 12perseverance, and in your perseverance, 13godliness,

7and in your godliness, 14brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.

8For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor 15unfruitful in the true 16knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
