2 Peter 1:16-19
16For we did not follow cleverly devised 1tales when we made known to you the 2power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were 3eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an 45utterance as this was 6made to Him by the 7Majestic Glory, “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased”-- 18and we ourselves heard this 8utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the 9holy mountain.
1910So we have 11the prophetic word made more 12sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to 13a lamp shining in a dark place, until the 14day dawns and the 15morning star arises 16in your hearts.
