2 Peter 1:1-4

1 1Simon Peter, a 2bond-servant and 3apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who have received 4a faith of the same 5kind as ours, 6by 7the righteousness of 8our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: 2 9Grace and peace be multiplied to you in 10the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; 3seeing that His 11divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true 12knowledge of Him who 13called us 14by His own glory and 15excellence. 4 16For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent 17promises, so that by them you may become 18partakers of the divine nature, having 19escaped the 20corruption that is in 21the world by lust.
