New American Standard Bible 1995
1 John 4:6-8
61We are from God; 2he who knows God listens to us; 3he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know 4the spirit of truth and 5the spirit of error.
76Beloved, let us 7love one another, for love is from God; and 8everyone who loves is 910born of God and 11knows God. 8The one who does not love does not know God, for 12God is love.
