1 John 4:17-21
17By this, 1love is perfected with us, so that we may have 2confidence in 3the day of judgment; because 4as He is, so also are we in this world.
18There is no fear in love; but 5perfect love casts out fear, because fear 6involves punishment, and the one who fears is not 7perfected in love.
198We love, because He first loved us.
209If someone says, “I love God,” and 10hates his brother, he is a 11liar; for 12the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, 13cannot love God whom he has not seen.
21And 14this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God 15should love his brother also.
