1 John 3:5-10

5You know that He 1appeared in order to 2take away sins; and 3in Him there is no sin. 6No one who abides in Him 4sins; no one who sins has seen Him or 56knows Him. 77Little children, make sure no one 8deceives you; 9the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8the one who practices sin is 10of the devil; for the devil 11has sinned from the beginning. 12The Son of God 13appeared for this purpose, 14to destroy the works of the devil. 9No one who is 1516born of God 17practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is 18born of God. 10By this the 19children of God and the 20children of the devil are obvious: 21anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who 22does not love his 23brother.
