1 John 3:15-18

15Everyone who 1hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that 2no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16We know love by this, that 3He laid down His life for us; and 4we ought to lay down our lives for the 5brethren.

17But 6whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and 7closes his 8heart 9against him, 10how does the love of God abide in him?

1811Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and 12truth.
