1 John 2:18-22

18Children, 1it is the last hour; and just as you heard that 2antichrist is coming, 3even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.

19 4They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, 5so that 6it would be shown that they all are not of us.

20 7But you have an 8anointing from 9the Holy One, and 10you all know.

21I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but 11because you do know it, and 12because no lie is 13of the truth.

22Who is the liar but 14the one who denies that Jesus is the 15Christ? This is 16the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
