1 Corinthians 6:13-19
131Food is for the 2stomach and the 3stomach is for food, but God will 4do away with both 5of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but 6for the Lord, and 7the Lord is for the body.
14Now God has not only 8raised the Lord, but 9will also raise us up through His power.
1510Do you not know that 11your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? 12May it never be!
16Or 13do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “14The two shall become one flesh.”
17But the one who joins himself to the Lord is 15one spirit with Him.
1816Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the 17immoral man sins against his own body.
19Or 18do you not know that 19your body is a 20temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from 21God, and that 22you are not your own?
