Corinthians 4:16-21

Therefore I exhort you, be 1imitators of me.

For this reason I 2have sent to you 3Timothy, who is my 4beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, 5just as I teach everywhere in every church.

Now some have become 67arrogant, as though I were not 8coming to you.

But I 9will come to you soon, 10if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the 11words of those who are 12arrogant but their power.

For the kingdom of God does 13not consist in 14words but in power.

What do you desire? 15Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness?
