1 Corinthians 15:53-57
53For this 1perishable must put on 23the imperishable, and this 4mortal must put on immortality. 54But when this 5perishable will have put on 6the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “7Death is swallowed up in victory. 558O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56The sting of 9death is sin, and 10the power of sin is the law; 57but 11thanks be to God, who gives us the 12victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
