Corinthians 1:21-24
For since in the wisdom of God 1the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, 2God was well-pleased through the 3foolishness of the 4message preached to 5save those who believe.
For indeed 6Jews ask for 7signs and Greeks search for wisdom;
but we preach 89Christ crucified, 10to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles 11foolishness,
but to those who are 12the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ 13the power of God and 14the wisdom of God.
