1 Corinthians 1:19-21

19For it is written, “1I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.” 202Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of 3this age? Has not God 4made foolish the wisdom of 5the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God 6the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, 7God was well-pleased through the 8foolishness of the 9message preached to 10save those who believe.
