22And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121for them, and he spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696unto them, sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Wherefore have ye beguiledרִמִּיתֶ֨םri.mi.TemH7411us, sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, We areveryמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966farרְחוֹקִ֨יםre.cho.KimH7350from you; when ye dwellיֹשְׁבִֽים׃yo.she.VimH3427amongבְּקִרְבֵּ֥נוּbe.kir.Be.nuH7130us?

23Now therefore ye arecursedאֲרוּרִ֣ים'a.ru.RimH779,and there shall none of you be freedיִכָּרֵ֨תyi.ka.RetH3772from being bondmenעֶ֗בֶד'E.vedH5650,and hewersוְחֹטְבֵ֥יve.cho.te.VeiH2404of woodעֵצִ֛ים'e.TzimH6086and drawersוְשֹֽׁאֲבֵי־ve.sho.'a.vei-H7579of waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325for the houseלְבֵ֥יתle.VeitH1004of my Godאֱלֹהָֽי׃'e.lo.HaiH430.

24And they answeredוַיַּעֲנ֨וּvai.ya.'a.NuH6030Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091,and saidוַיֹּאמְר֗וּvai.yo.me.RuH559,Because it was certainlyהֻגֵּ֨דhu.GedH5046toldהֻגַּ֤דhu.GadH5046thy servantsלַעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙la.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650,how that the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430commandedצִוָּ֜הtzi.VahH6680his servantעַבְדּ֔וֹav.DoH5650Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872to giveלָתֵ֤תla.TetH5414you all the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and to destroyוּלְהַשְׁמִ֛ידu.le.hash.MidH8045all the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֥יyo.she.VeiH3427of the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776from beforeמִפְּנֵיכֶ֑םmi.pe.nei.KhemH6440you, therefore we were soreמְאֹ֤דme.'OdH3966afraidוַנִּירָ֨אva.ni.Ra'H3372of our livesלְנַפְשֹׁתֵ֙ינוּ֙le.naf.sho.Tei.nuH5315becauseמִפְּנֵיכֶ֔םmi.pe.nei.KhemH6440of you, and have doneוַֽנַּעֲשֵׂ֖הva.na.'a.SehH6213this thingהַדָּבָ֥רha.da.VarH1697.

25And now, behold, weH2009arein thine handבְיָדֶ֑ךָve.ya.De.khaH3027:as it seemethבְּעֵינֶ֛יךָbe.'ei.Nei.khaH5869goodכַּטּ֨וֹבka.TovH2896and rightוְכַיָּשָׁ֧רve.khai.ya.SharH3477unto thee to doלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213unto us, doעֲשֵֽׂה׃'a.SehH6213.

26And so didוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213he unto them, and deliveredוַיַּצֵּ֥לvai.ya.TzelH5337them out of the handמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of the childrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,that they slewהֲרָגֽוּם׃ha.ra.GumH2026them not.

27And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091madeוַיִּתְּנֵ֨םvai.yi.te.NemH5414them that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117hewersחֹטְבֵ֥יcho.te.VeiH2404of woodעֵצִ֛ים'e.TzimH6086and drawersוְשֹׁ֥אֲבֵיve.Sho.'a.veiH7579of waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325for the congregationלָֽעֵדָ֑הla.'e.DahH5712,and for the altarוּלְמִזְבַּ֤חu.le.miz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,even unto this dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117,in the placeהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725which he should chooseיִבְחָֽר׃ פyiv.CharH977.
