14And it came to pass, when the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Aiהָעַ֗יha.'AiH5857sawכִּרְא֣וֹתkir.'otH7200it,that they hastedוַֽיְמַהֲר֡וּvay.ma.ha.RuH4116and rose up earlyוַיַּשְׁכִּ֡ימוּvai.yash.Ki.muH7925,and the menאַנְשֵֽׁי־'an.shei-H582of the cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892went outוַיֵּצְא֣וּvai.ye.tze.'UH3318againstH7125Israelיִ֠שְׂרָאֵלYis.ra.'elH3478to battleלַֽמִּלְחָמָ֞הla.mil.cha.MahH4421,he and all his peopleעַמּ֛וֹa.MoH5971,at a time appointedלַמּוֹעֵ֖דla.mo.'EdH4150,beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the plainהָֽעֲרָבָ֑הha.'a.ra.VahH6160;but he wistיָדַ֔עya.Da'H3045not that there wereliers in ambushאֹרֵ֥ב'o.RevH693against him behindמֵאַחֲרֵ֥יme.'a.cha.ReiH310the cityהָעִֽיר׃ha.'IrH5892.
