2And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091,Seeרְאֵה֙re.'EhH7200,I have givenנָתַ֣תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414into thine handבְיָֽדְךָ֔ve.ya.de.KhaH3027Jerichoיְרִיח֖וֹye.ri.ChoH3405,and the kingמַלְכָּ֑הּmal.KahH4428thereof, andthe mighty menגִּבּוֹרֵ֖יgi.bo.ReiH1368of valourהֶחָֽיִל׃he.Cha.yilH2428.
3And ye shall compassוְסַבֹּתֶ֣םve.sa.bo.TemH5437the cityהָעִ֗ירha.'IrH5892, all yemenאַנְשֵׁ֣י'an.SheiH582of warהַמִּלְחָמָ֔הha.mil.cha.MahH4421, andgo round aboutהַקֵּ֥יףha.KeifH5362the cityהָעִ֖ירha.'IrH5892onceפַּ֣עַם אֶחָ֑תPa.'am 'e.ChatH259H6471.Thus shalt thou doתַעֲשֶׂ֖הta.'a.SehH6213sixשֵׁ֥שֶׁתShe.shetH8337daysיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117.
4And sevenוְשִׁבְעָ֣הve.shiv.'AhH7651priestsכֹהֲנִ֡יםkho.ha.NimH3548shall bearיִשְׂאוּ֩yis.'UH5375beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the arkהָאָר֔וֹןha.'a.RonH727sevenשִׁבְעָ֨הshiv.'AhH7651trumpetsשׁוֹפְר֤וֹתshof.RotH7782of rams’ hornsהַיּֽוֹבְלִים֙hai.yov.LimH3104:and the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637dayוּבַיּוֹם֙u.vai.yOmH3117ye shall compassתָּסֹ֥בּוּta.So.buH5437the cityהָעִ֖ירha.'IrH5892sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִ֑יםpe.'a.MimH6471,and the priestsוְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםve.ha.Ko.ha.NimH3548shall blowיִתְקְע֖וּyit.ke.'UH8628with the trumpetsבַּשּׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃ba.sho.fa.RotH7782.
5And it shall come to pass, that when they make a longבִּמְשֹׁ֣ךְ׀bim.ShokhH4900blastwith the ram’sהַיּוֹבֵ֗לhai.yo.VelH3104hornבְּקֶ֣רֶןbe.Ke.renH7161, andwhen ye hearכְּשָׁמְעֲכֶם֙ke.sha.me.'a.khemH8085the soundק֣וֹלKolH6963of the trumpetהַשּׁוֹפָ֔רha.sho.FarH7782,all the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971shall shoutיָרִ֥יעוּya.Ri.'uH7321with a greatגְדוֹלָ֑הge.do.LahH1419shoutתְּרוּעָ֣הte.ru.'AhH8643;and the wallחוֹמַ֤תcho.MatH2346of the cityהָעִיר֙ha.'IrH5892shall fall downוְנָ֨פְלָ֜הve.Na.fe.LahH5307flatתַּחְתֶּ֔יהָtach.Tei.haH8478,and the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971shall ascend upוְעָל֥וּve.'a.LuH5927every manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376straight before him.
