1And when the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthהַחֹ֣דֶשׁha.Cho.deshH2320was comeוַיִּגַּע֙vai.yi.Ga'H5060,and the childrenוּבְנֵ֥יu.ve.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478werein the citiesבֶּעָרִ֑ים סbe.'a.RimH5892,the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971gathered themselves togetherוַיֵּאָסְפ֥וּvai.ye.'a.se.FuH622as oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259manכְּאִ֥ישׁke.'IshH376to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ סye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

2Then stood upוַיָּקָם֩vai.ya.KamH6965Jeshuaיֵשׁ֨וּעַye.Shu.a'H3442the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jozadakיֽוֹצָדָ֜קyo.tza.DakH3136,and his brethrenוְאֶחָ֣יוve.'e.ChavH251the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֗יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548,and Zerubbabelוּזְרֻבָּבֶ֤לu.ze.ru.ba.VelH2216the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Shealtielשְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙she.'al.ti.'ElH7597,and his brethrenוְאֶחָ֔יוve.'e.ChavH251,and buildedוַיִּבְנ֕וּvai.yiv.NuH1129the altarמִזְבַּ֖חmiz.BachH4196of the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,to offerלְהַעֲל֤וֹתle.ha.'a.LotH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֔וֹתo.LotH5930thereon, as it iswrittenכַּכָּת֕וּבka.ka.TuvH3789in the lawבְּתוֹרַ֖תbe.to.RatH8451of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

3And they setוַיָּכִ֤ינוּvai.ya.Khi.nuH3559the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196upon his basesמְכ֣וֹנֹתָ֔יוme.Kho.no.TavH4350;for fearבְּאֵימָ֣הbe.'ei.MahH367wasupon them because of the peopleמֵעַמֵּ֖יme.'a.MeiH5971of those countriesהָאֲרָצ֑וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776:and they offeredוַיַּעֲל֨וּvai.ya.'alH5927burnt offeringsעֹלוֹת֙'o.lOtH5930thereon unto the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068, evenburnt offeringsעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930morningלַבֹּ֥קֶרla.Bo.kerH1242and eveningוְלָעָֽרֶב׃ve.la.'A.revH6153.

4They keptוַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213also the feastחַ֥גchagH2282of tabernaclesהַסֻּכּ֖וֹתha.su.KotH5521, as it iswrittenכַּכָּת֑וּבka.ka.TuvH3789, and offeredthe dailyH3117burnt offeringsוְעֹלַ֨תve.'o.LatH5930by numberבְּמִסְפָּ֔רbe.mis.ParH4557,according to the customכְּמִשְׁפַּ֖טke.mish.PatH4941,as the dutyדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of every dayH3117requiredH3117;

5And afterwardוְאַחֲרֵיכֵ֞ןve.'a.cha.rei.KhenH310offeredthe continualתָּמִיד֙ta.MidH8548burnt offeringעֹלַ֤ת'o.LatH5930,both of the new moonsוְלֶ֣חֳדָשִׁ֔יםve.Le.cho.da.ShimH2320,and of all the set feastsמוֹעֲדֵ֥יmo.'a.DeiH4150of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068that were consecratedהַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֑יםham.ku.da.ShimH6942,and of every one that willingly offeredמִתְנַדֵּ֥בmit.na.DevH5068a freewill offeringנְדָבָ֖הne.da.VahH5071unto the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

6From the firstאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259dayמִיּ֤וֹםmi.YomH3117of the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthלַחֹ֣דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320beganהֵחֵ֕לּוּhe.Che.luH2490they to offerלְהַעֲל֥וֹתle.ha.'a.LotH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930unto the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068.But the foundationH3245of the templeוְהֵיכַ֥לve.hei.KhalH1964of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068was not yetlaidH3245.

7They gaveוַיִּ֨תְּנוּ־vai.Yi.te.nu-H5414moneyכֶ֔סֶףKhe.sefH3701also unto the masonsלַחֹצְבִ֖יםla.cho.tze.VimH2672,and to the carpentersוְלֶחָרָשִׁ֑יםve.le.cha.ra.ShimH2796;and meatוּמַאֲכָ֨לu.ma.'a.KhalH3978,and drinkוּמִשְׁתֶּ֜הu.mish.TehH4960,and oilוָשֶׁ֗מֶןva.She.menH8081,unto them of Zidonלַצִּֽדֹנִים֙la.tzi.do.NimH6722,and to them of Tyreוְלַצֹּרִ֔יםve.la.tzo.RimH6876,to bringלְהָבִיא֩le.ha.Vi'H935cedarאֲרָזִ֤ים'a.ra.ZimH730treesעֲצֵ֨י'a.TzeiH6086from Lebanonהַלְּבָנוֹן֙ha.le.va.nOnH3844to the seaיָ֣םyamH3220of Joppaיָפ֔וֹאya.Fo'H3305,according to the grantכְּרִשְׁי֛וֹןke.rish.YonH7558that they had of Cyrusכּ֥וֹרֶשׁKo.reshH3566kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Persiaפָּרַ֖סpa.RasH6539.

11And they sang together by courseוַֽ֠יַּעֲנוּVai.ya.'a.nuH6030in praisingבְּהַלֵּ֨לbe.ha.LelH1984and giving thanksוּבְהוֹדֹ֤תu.ve.ho.DotH3034unto the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068; because he isgoodט֔וֹבTovH2896,for his mercyחַסְדּ֖וֹchas.DoH2617endurethfor everלְעוֹלָ֥םle.'o.LamH5769toward Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.And all the peopleהָעָ֡םha.'AmH5971shoutedהֵרִיעוּ֩he.ri.'UH7321with a greatגְדוֹלָ֤הge.do.LahH1419shoutתְרוּעָ֙הte.ru.'AhH8643,when they praisedבְהַלֵּל֙ve.ha.LelH1984the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,because the foundationH3245of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068was laidH3245.
