35Wherefore, O harlotזוֹנָ֔הzo.NahH2181,hearשִׁמְעִ֖יshim.'IH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068:

36Thus saithאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהֹוִ֗הYah.wehH3069;Because thy filthinessנְחֻשְׁתֵּךְ֙ne.chush.teKhH5178was poured outהִשָּׁפֵ֤ךְhi.sha.FekhH8210,and thy nakednessעֶרְוָתֵ֔ךְ'er.va.TekhH6172discoveredוַתִּגָּלֶ֣הva.ti.ga.LehH1540through thy whoredomsבְּתַזְנוּתַ֖יִךְbe.taz.nu.Ta.yikhH8457with thy loversמְאַהֲבָ֑יִךְme.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157,and with all the idolsגִּלּוּלֵ֣יgi.lu.LeiH1544of thy abominationsתוֹעֲבוֹתַ֔יִךְto.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441,and by the bloodוְכִדְמֵ֣יve.khid.MeiH1818of thy childrenבָנַ֔יִךְva.Na.yikhH1121,which thou didst giveנָתַ֖תְּna.TatH5414unto them;

37Behold, therefore I will gatherמְקַבֵּ֤ץme.ka.BetzH6908all thy loversמְאַהֲבַ֙יִךְ֙me.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157,with whom thou hast taken pleasureעָרַ֣בְתְּ'a.RavtH6149, and all themthat thou hast lovedאָהַ֔בְתְּ'a.HavtH157, with all themthat thou hast hatedשָׂנֵ֑אתsa.NetH8130;I will even gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּי֩ve.ki.batz.TiH6908them round aboutמִסָּבִ֗יבmi.sa.VivH5439against thee, and will discoverוְגִלֵּיתִ֤יve.gi.lei.TiH1540thy nakednessעֶרְוָתֵךְ֙'er.va.teKhH6172unto them, that they may seeוְרָא֖וּve.ra.'UH7200all thy nakednessעֶרְוָתֵֽךְ׃'er.va.TekhH6172.

38And I will judgeוּשְׁפַטְתִּיךְ֙u.she.fa.tiKhH8199thee, as women that break wedlockנֹאֲפ֔וֹתno.'a.FotH5003and shedוְשֹׁפְכֹ֖תve.sho.fe.KhotH8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818are judgedמִשְׁפְּטֵ֣יmish.pe.TeiH4941;and I will giveוּנְתַתִּ֕יךְu.ne.ta.TikhH5414thee bloodדַּ֥םdamH1818in furyחֵמָ֖הche.MahH2534and jealousyוְקִנְאָֽה׃ve.kin.'AhH7068.

39And I will also giveוְנָתַתִּ֨יve.na.ta.TiH5414thee into their handבְּיָדָ֗םbe.ya.DamH3027,and they shall throw downוְהָרְס֤וּve.ha.re.SuH2040thine eminent placeגַבֵּךְ֙ga.beKhH1354,and shall break downוְנִתְּצ֣וּve.ni.te.TzuH5422thy high placesרָמֹתַ֔יִךְra.mo.Ta.yikhH7413:they shall stripוְהִפְשִׁ֤יטוּve.hif.Shi.tuH6584thee also of thy clothesבְּגָדַ֔יִךְbe.ga.Da.yikhH899,and shall takeוְלָקְח֖וּve.la.ke.ChuH3947thy fairתִפְאַרְתֵּ֑ךְtif.'ar.TekhH8597jewelsכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627,and leaveH3240thee nakedעֵירֹ֥ם'ei.RomH5903and bareוְעֶרְיָֽה׃ve.'er.YahH6181.

40They shall also bring upוְהֶעֱל֤וּve.he.'e.LuH5927a companyקָהָ֔לka.HalH6951against thee, and they shall stoneוְרָגְמ֥וּve.ra.ge.MuH7275thee with stonesבָּאָ֑בֶןba.'A.venH68,and thrust thee throughוּבִתְּק֖וּךְu.vi.te.KukhH1333with their swordsבְּחַרְבוֹתָֽם׃be.char.vo.TamH2719.

41And they shall burnוְשָׂרְפ֤וּve.sa.re.FuH8313thine housesבָתַּ֙יִךְ֙va.Ta.yikhH1004with fireבָּאֵ֔שׁba.'EshH784,and executeוְעָשׂוּ־ve.'a.su-H6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֔יםshe.fa.TimH8201upon thee in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of manyרַבּ֑וֹתra.BotH7227womenנָשִׁ֣יםna.ShimH802:and I will cause thee to ceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּיךְ֙ve.hish.ba.tiKhH7673from playing the harlotמִזּוֹנָ֔הmi.zo.NahH2181,and thou also shalt giveתִתְּנִי־ti.te.ni-H5414no hireאֶתְנַ֖ן'et.NanH868any more.

42So will I make my furyחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534toward thee to restוַהֲנִחֹתִ֤יva.ha.ni.cho.TiH5117,and my jealousyקִנְאָתִ֖יkin.'a.TiH7068shall departוְסָ֥רָהve.Sa.rahH5493from thee, and I will be quietוְשָׁ֣קַטְתִּ֔יve.Sha.ka.TiH8252,and will be no more angryאֶכְעַ֖ס'ekh.'AsH3707.

43Because thou hast not rememberedזָכַרְתְּ֙za.khar.tiH2142the daysיְמֵ֣יye.MeiH3117of thy youthנְעוּרַ֔יִךְne.'u.Ra.yikhH5271,but hast frettedוַתִּרְגְּזִי־va.tir.ge.zi-H7264me in all these things;beholdהֵ֜אhe'H1887,therefore I also will recompenseנָתַ֗תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414thy wayדַּרְכֵּ֣ךְ׀dar.KekhH1870upon thineheadבְּרֹ֣אשׁbe.RoshH7218,saithנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069:and thou shalt not commitעָשִׂית֙a.si.tiH6213this lewdnessהַזִּמָּ֔הha.zi.MahH2154above all thine abominationsתּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ׃to.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441.

44Behold, every one that useth proverbsהַמֹּשֵׁ֔לha.mo.ShelH4911shall use thisproverbיִמְשֹׁ֖לyim.SholH4911against thee, sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, As isthe motherכְּאִמָּ֖הke.'i.MahH517, so isher daughterבִּתָּֽהּ׃bi.TahH1323.

45Thou artthy mother’sאִמֵּ֣ךְ'i.MekhH517daughterבַּת־bat-H1323,that lothethגֹּעֶ֥לֶתgo.'E.letH1602her husbandאִישָׁ֖הּ'i.ShahH376and her childrenוּבָנֶ֑יהָu.va.Nei.haH1121; and thou artthe sisterוַאֲח֨וֹתva.'a.ChotH269of thy sistersאֲחוֹתֵ֜ךְ'a.cho.TekhH269,which lothedגָּֽעֲ֙לוּ֙ga.'A.luH1602their husbandsאַנְשֵׁיהֶ֣ן'an.shei.HenH582and their childrenוּבְנֵיהֶ֔ןu.ve.nei.HenH1121:your motherאִמְּכֶ֣ן'i.me.KhenH517wasan Hittiteחִתִּ֔יתchi.TitH2850,and your fatherוַאֲבִיכֶ֖ןva.'a.vi.KhenH1an Amoriteאֱמֹרִֽי׃'e.mo.RiH567.

46And thine elderהַגְּדוֹלָ֤הha.ge.do.LahH1419sisterוַאֲחוֹתֵ֨ךְva.'a.cho.TekhH269isSamariaשֹֽׁמְרוֹן֙sho.me.rOnH8111,she and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323that dwellהַיּוֹשֶׁ֖בֶתhai.yo.She.vetH3427at thy left handשְׂמֹאולֵ֑ךְse.mo.LekhH8040:and thy youngerהַקְּטַנָּ֣הha.ke.ta.NahH6996sisterוַאֲחוֹתֵ֞ךְva.'a.cho.TekhH269,that dwellethהַיּוֹשֶׁ֙בֶת֙hai.yo.She.vetH3427at thy right handמִֽימִינֵ֔ךְmi.mi.NekhH3225, isSodomסְדֹ֖םse.DomH5467and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶֽיהָ׃u.ve.no.Tei.haH1323.

47Yet hast thou not walkedהָלַ֔כְתְּha.LakhtH1980after their waysבְדַרְכֵיהֶן֙ve.dar.khei.HenH1870,nor doneעָשִׂ֑יתa.si.tiH6213after their abominationsוּבְתוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ןu.ve.to.'a.vo.tei.HenH8441: but, as if that werea veryקָ֔טKatH6985littleכִּמְעַ֣טkim.'AtH6962 H4592thing,thou wast corruptedוַתַּשְׁחִ֥תִיva.tash.Chi.tiH7843more than theyH2004in all thy waysדְּרָכָֽיִךְ׃de.ra.Kha.yikhH1870.

48AsI liveחַי־chai-H2416,saithנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069,Sodomסְדֹ֣םse.DomH5467thy sisterאֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְ'a.cho.TekhH269hath not doneעָֽשְׂתָה֙'a.se.TahH6213,she nor her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֑יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323,as thou hast doneעָשִׂ֔ית'a.SitH6213,thou and thy daughtersוּבְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃u.ve.no.Ta.yikhH1323.

49Behold, this was the iniquityעֲוֹ֖ן'a.VonH5771of thy sisterאֲחוֹתֵ֑ךְ'a.cho.TekhH269Sodomסְדֹ֣םse.DomH5467,prideגָּא֨וֹןga.'onH1347,fulnessשִׂבְעַת־siv.'at-H7653of breadלֶ֜חֶםLe.chemH3899,and abundanceוְשַׁלְוַ֣תve.shal.VatH7962of idlenessהַשְׁקֵ֗טhash.KetH8252was in her and in her daughtersוְלִבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָve.liv.no.Tei.haH1323,neither did she strengthenהֶחֱזִֽיקָה׃he.che.Zi.kahH2388the handוְיַד־ve.yad-H3027of the poorעָנִ֥י'a.NiH6041and needyוְאֶבְי֖וֹןve.'ev.YonH34.

50And they were haughtyוַֽתִּגְבְּהֶ֔ינָהva.tig.be.Hei.nahH1361,and committedוַתַּעֲשֶׂ֥ינָהva.ta.'a.Sei.nahH6213abominationתוֹעֵבָ֖הto.'e.VahH8441beforeלְפָנָ֑יle.fa.NaiH6440me: therefore I took them awayוָאָסִ֥ירva.'a.SirH5493as I sawרָאִֽיתִי׃ סra.'I.tiH7200good.

51Neither hath Samariaוְשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹןve.Sho.me.RonH8111committedחָטָ֑אָהcha.Ta.'ahH2398halfכַּחֲצִ֥יka.cha.TziH2677of thy sinsחַטֹּאתַ֖יִךְcha.to.Ta.yikhH2403;but thou hast multipliedוַתַּרְבִּ֤יva.tar.BiH7235thine abominationsתּוֹעֲבוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙to.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441more than theyH2007,and hast justifiedוַתְּצַדְּקִי֙va.te.tza.de.KiH6663thy sistersאֲחוֹתַ֔יִךְ'a.cho.tekhH269in all thine abominationsתּוֹעֲבוֹתַ֖יִךְto.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441which thou hast doneעָשִֽׂית׃a.si.tH6213.

52Thou also, which hast judgedפִּלַּלְתְּ֙pi.lalTH6419thy sistersלַֽאֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְla.'a.cho.TekhH269,bearשְׂאִ֣יse.'IH5375thine own shameכְלִמָּתֵ֗ךְkhe.li.ma.TekhH3639for thy sinsבְּחַטֹּאתַ֛יִךְbe.cha.to.Ta.yikhH2403that thou hast committed more abominableהִתְעַ֥בְתְּhit.'AvtH8581than theyH2004:they are more righteousתִּצְדַּ֣קְנָהtitz.Dak.nahH6663than thou: yea, be thou confoundedבּ֙וֹשִׁי֙bo.shiH954also, and bearוּשְׂאִ֣יu.se.'IH5375thy shameכְלִמָּתֵ֔ךְkhe.li.ma.TekhH3639,in that thou hast justifiedבְּצַדֶּקְתֵּ֖ךְbe.tza.dek.TekhH6663thy sistersאַחְיוֹתֵֽךְ׃'ach.yo.TekhH269.

53When I shall bring againוְשַׁבְתִּי֙ve.shav.TiH7725their captivityשְׁבִ֣יתְהֶ֔ןshe.Vi.te.HenH7622,the captivityשְׁב֤וּתshe.vitH7622of Sodomסְדֹם֙se.DomH5467and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323,and the captivityשְׁב֥וּתshe.vitH7622of Samariaשֹׁמְר֖וֹןsho.me.RonH8111and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֑יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323, then will I bring againthe captivityוּשְׁב֥וּתu.she.vitH7622of thy captivesשְׁבִיתַ֖יִךְshe.vi.Ta.yikhH7622in the midstבְּתוֹכָֽהְנָה׃be.to.Kha.he.nahH8432of them:

54That thou mayest bearתִּשְׂאִ֣יtis.'IH5375thine own shameכְלִמָּתֵ֔ךְkhe.li.ma.TekhH3639,and mayest be confoundedוְנִכְלַ֕מְתְּve.nikh.LamtH3637in all that thou hast doneעָשִׂ֑ית'a.SitH6213,in that thou art a comfortבְּנַחֲמֵ֖ךְbe.na.cha.MekhH5162unto them.

55When thy sistersוַאֲחוֹתַ֗יִךְva.'a.cho.Ta.yikhH269,Sodomסְדֹ֤םse.DomH5467and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֙יהָ֙u.ve.no.Tei.haH1323,shall returnתָּשֹׁ֣בְןָta.Shoe.naH7725to their former estateלְקַדְמָתָ֔ןle.kad.ma.TanH6927,and Samariaוְשֹֽׁמְרוֹן֙ve.sho.me.rOnH8111and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323shall returnתָּשֹׁ֖בְןָta.Shoe.naH7725to their former estateלְקַדְמָתָ֑ןle.kad.ma.TanH6927,then thou and thy daughtersוּבְנוֹתַ֔יִךְu.ve.no.Ta.yikhH1323shall returnתְּשֻׁבֶ֖ינָהte.shu.Vei.nahH7725to your former estateלְקַדְמַתְכֶֽן׃le.kad.mat.KhenH6927.

56For thy sisterאֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְ'a.cho.TekhH269Sodomסְדֹ֣םse.DomH5467was not mentionedלִשְׁמוּעָ֖הlish.mu.'AhH8052by thy mouthבְּפִ֑יךְbe.FikhH6310in the dayבְּי֖וֹםbe.YomH3117of thy prideגְּאוֹנָֽיִךְ׃ge.'o.Na.yikhH1347,

57Before thy wickednessרָעָתֵךְ֒ra.'a.teKhH7451was discoveredתִּגָּלֶ֣הti.ga.LehH1540,as at the timeעֵ֚ת'etH6256of thyreproachחֶרְפַּ֣תcher.PatH2781of the daughtersבְּנוֹת־be.not-H1323of Syriaאֲרָ֔ם'a.RamH758, and all that areround aboutסְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָse.vi.vo.Tei.haH5439her, the daughtersבְּנ֣וֹתbe.NotH1323of the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑יםpe.lish.TimH6430,which despiseהַשָּׁאט֥וֹתha.sha.TotH7590thee round aboutמִסָּבִֽיב׃mi.sa.VivH5439.

58Thou hast borneנְשָׂאתִ֑יםne.sa.TimH5375thy lewdnessזִמָּתֵ֥ךְzi.ma.TekhH2154and thine abominationsתּוֹעֲבוֹתַ֖יִךְto.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

59For thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069;I will even dealוְעָשִׂ֥יתִיve.'a.sitH6213with thee as thou hast doneעָשִׂ֑ית'a.SitH6213,which hast despisedבָּזִ֥יתba.ZitH959the oathאָלָ֖ה'a.LahH423in breakingלְהָפֵ֥רle.ha.FerH6565the covenantבְּרִֽית׃be.RitH1285.
