2And he smoteוַיַּ֣ךְvai.YakhH5221Moabמוֹאָ֗בmo.'AvH4124,and measuredוַֽיְמַדְּדֵ֤םvay.ma.de.DemH4058them with a lineבַּחֶ֙בֶל֙ba.Che.velH2256,casting them downהַשְׁכֵּ֣בhash.KevH7901to the groundאַ֔רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776;even with twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147linesחֲבָלִים֙cha.va.LimH2256measuredוַיְמַדֵּ֤דvay.ma.DedH4058he to put to deathלְהָמִ֔יתle.ha.MitH4191,and with one fullוּמְלֹ֥אu.me.Lo'H4393lineהַחֶ֖בֶלha.Che.velH2256to keep aliveלְהַחֲי֑וֹתle.ha.cha.YotH2421. 4And Davidדָּוִ֜דda.VidH1732tookוַיִּלְכֹּ֨דvai.yil.KodH3920from him a thousandאֶ֤לֶף'E.lefH505chariots,and sevenוּשְׁבַע־u.she.va'-H7651hundredמֵאוֹת֙me.'OtH3967horsemenפָּרָשִׁ֔יםpa.ra.ShimH6571,and twentyוְעֶשְׂרִ֥יםve.'es.RimH6242thousandאֶ֖לֶף'E.lefH505footmenאִ֣ישׁ רַגְלִ֑י'ish rag.LiH7273H376:and Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732houghedוַיְעַקֵּ֤רvay.'a.KerH6131all the chariotהָרֶ֔כֶבha.Re.khevH7393horses,but reservedוַיּוֹתֵ֥רvai.yo.TerH3498of them foran hundredמֵ֥אָהMe.'ahH3967chariotsרָֽכֶב׃Ra.khevH7393.
