13And it was so,that when they that bareנֹשְׂאֵ֥יno.se.'EiH5375the arkאֲרוֹן־'a.ron-H727of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had goneצָעֲד֛וּtza.'a.DuH6805sixשִׁשָּׁ֣הshi.ShahH8337pacesצְעָדִ֑יםtze.'a.DimH6806,he sacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֥חvai.yiz.BachH2076oxenשׁ֖וֹרShorH7794and fatlingsוּמְרִֽיא׃u.me.Ri'H4806.
15So Davidוְדָוִד֙ve.da.VidH1732and all the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478brought upמַעֲלִ֖יםma.'a.LimH5927the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068with shoutingבִּתְרוּעָ֖הbit.ru.'AhH8643,and with the soundוּבְק֥וֹלu.ve.KolH6963of the trumpetשׁוֹפָֽר׃sho.FarH7782.
16And as the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068cameבָּ֖אba'H935into the cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732,Michalוּמִיכַ֨לu.mi.KhalH4324Saul’sשָׁא֜וּלsha.'UlH7586daughterבַּת־bat-H1323lookedנִשְׁקְפָ֣ה׀nish.ke.FahH8259through a windowהַחַלּ֗וֹןha.cha.LonH2474,and sawוַתֵּ֨רֶאva.Te.re'H7200kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732leapingמְפַזֵּ֤זme.fa.ZezH6339and dancingוּמְכַרְכֵּר֙u.me.khar.KerH3769beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;and she despisedוַתִּ֥בֶזva.Ti.vezH959him in her heartבְּלִבָּֽהּ׃be.li.BahH3820.
17And they broughtוַיָּבִ֜אוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935in the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,and setוַיַּצִּ֤גוּvai.ya.Tzi.guH3322it in his placeבִּמְקוֹמ֔וֹbim.ko.MoH4725,in the midstבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the tabernacleהָאֹ֔הֶלha.'O.helH168that Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732had pitchedנָטָה־na.tah-H5186for it: and Davidדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732offeredוַיַּ֨עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֛וֹתo.LotH5930and peace offeringsוּשְׁלָמִֽים׃u.she.la.MimH8002beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.
18And as soon as Davidדָּוִ֔דda.VidH1732had made an endוַיְכַ֣לvay.KhalH3615of offeringמֵהַעֲל֥וֹתme.ha.'a.LotH5927burnt offeringsהָעוֹלָ֖הha.'o.LahH5930and peace offeringsוְהַשְּׁלָמִ֑יםve.ha.she.la.MimH8002,he blessedוַיְבָ֣רֶךְvay.Va.rekhH1288the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971in the nameבְּשֵׁ֖םbe.ShemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.
19And he dealtוַיְחַלֵּ֨קvay.cha.LekH2505among all the peopleהָעָ֜םha.'AmH5971, evenamong the whole multitudeהֲמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֮Yis.ra.'ElH3478,as well to the womenאִשָּׁה֒'i.ShahH802as menלְמֵאִ֣ישׁle.me.'IshH376,to every oneלְאִ֗ישׁle.'IshH376aH259cakeחַלַּ֥תcha.LatH2471of breadלֶ֙חֶם֙le.chemH3899,and a good pieceוְאֶשְׁפָּ֣רve.'esh.ParH829of flesh,and a flagonוַאֲשִׁישָׁ֖הva.'a.shi.ShahH809of wine.So all the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971departedH3212every oneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376to his houseלְבֵיתֽוֹ׃le.vei.ToH1004.

21And Davidדָּוִד֮da.VidH1732saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Michalמִיכַל֒mi.KhalH4324, It wasbeforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,which choseבָּֽחַר־ba.char-H977me before thy fatherמֵֽאָבִיךְ֙me.'a.viKhH1,and before all his houseבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004,to appointלְצַוֹּ֨תle.tza.VotH6680me rulerנָגִ֛ידna.GidH5057over the peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478:therefore will I playוְשִׂחַקְתִּ֖יve.si.chak.TiH7832beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
22And I will yet be more vileוּנְקַלֹּ֤תִיu.ne.ka.Lo.tiH7043than thusמִזֹּ֔אתmi.ZotH2063,and will be baseשָׁפָ֖לsha.FalH8217in mine own sightבְּעֵינָ֑יbe.'ei.NaiH5869:and of the maidservantsהָֽאֲמָהוֹת֙ha.'a.ma.hOtH519which thou hast spokenאָמַ֔רְתְּ'a.MartH559of, of them shall I be had in honourאִכָּבֵֽדָה׃'i.ka.Ve.dahH3513.
