24And Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ge.dal.Ya.huH1436swareוַיִּשָּׁבַ֨עvai.yi.sha.Va'H7650to them, and to their menוּלְאַנְשֵׁיהֶ֔םu.le.'an.shei.HemH582,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Fearתִּֽירְא֖וּti.re.'UH3372not to be the servantsמֵעַבְדֵ֣יme.'av.DeiH5650of the Chaldeesהַכַּשְׂדִּ֑יםha.kas.DimH3778:dwellשְׁב֣וּshe.VuH3427in the landבָאָ֗רֶץva.'A.retzH776,and serveוְעִבְד֛וּve.'iv.DuH5647the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894;and it shall be wellוְיִטַ֥בve.yi.TavH3190with you.

25But it came to pass in the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֗יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320,that Ishmaelיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אלyish.ma.'ElH3458the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nethaniahנְ֠תַנְיָהNe.tan.yahH5418,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Elishamaאֱלִ֨ישָׁמָ֜ע'e.Li.sha.Ma'H476,of the seedמִזֶּ֣רַעmi.Ze.ra'H2233royalהַמְּלוּכָ֗הha.me.lu.KhahH4410,cameבָּ֣אba'H935,and tenוַעֲשָׂרָ֤הva.'a.sa.RahH6235menאֲנָשִׁים֙'a.na.ShimH582with him, and smoteוַיַּכּ֥וּvai.ya.KuH5221Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֖הוּge.dal.Ya.huH1436,that he diedוַיָּמֹ֑תvai.ya.MotH4191,and the Jewsהַיְּהוּדִים֙hai.ye.hu.DimH3064and the Chaldeesהַכַּשְׂדִּ֔יםha.kas.DimH3778that were with him at Mizpahבַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ba.mitz.PahH4709.
