5And he put downוְהִשְׁבִּ֣יתve.hish.BitH7673the idolatrous priestsהַכְּמָרִ֗יםha.ke.ma.RimH3649,whom the kingsמַלְכֵ֣יmal.KheiH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063had ordainedנָֽתְנוּ֙na.te.NuH5414to burn incenseוַיְקַטֵּ֤רvay.ka.TerH6999in the high placesבַּבָּמוֹת֙ba.ba.mOtH1116in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֣יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,and in the places round aboutוּמְסִבֵּ֖יu.me.si.BeiH4524Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389;them also that burned incenseהַֽמְקַטְּרִ֣יםham.ka.te.RimH6999unto Baalלַבַּ֗עַלla.Ba.'alH1168,to the sunלַשֶּׁ֤מֶשׁla.She.meshH8121,and to the moonוְלַיָּרֵ֙חַ֙ve.lai.ya.Re.achH3394,and to the planetsוְלַמַּזָּל֔וֹתve.lam.ma.za.LotH4208,and to all the hostצְבָ֥אtze.Va'H6635of heavenהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064.

6And he brought outוַיֹּצֵ֣אvai.yo.Tze'H3318the groveהָאֲשֵׁרָה֩ha.'a.she.RahH842from the houseמִבֵּ֨יתmi.BeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068,withoutמִח֤וּץmi.ChutzH2351Jerusalemלִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙li.ru.sha.LimH3389,unto the brookנַ֣חַלNa.chalH5158Kidronקִדְר֔וֹןkid.RonH6939,and burnedוַיִּשְׂרֹ֥ףvai.yis.RofH8313it at the brookבְּנַ֥חַלbe.Na.chalH5158Kidronקִדְר֖וֹןkid.RonH6939, and stamped itsmallוַיָּ֣דֶקvai.Ya.dekH1854to powderלְעָפָ֑רle.'a.FarH6083,and castוַיַּשְׁלֵךְ֙vai.yash.leKhH7993the powderעֲפָרָ֔הּ'a.fa.RahH6083thereof upon the gravesקֶ֖בֶרKe.verH6913of the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

7And he brake downוַיִּתֹּץ֙vai.yi.TotzH5422the housesבָּתֵּ֣יba.TeiH1004of the sodomitesהַקְּדֵשִׁ֔יםha.ke.de.ShimH6945, that wereby the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,where the womenהַנָּשִׁ֗יםha.na.ShimH802woveאֹרְג֥וֹת'o.re.goytH707hangingsבָּתִּ֖יםba.TimH1004for the groveלָאֲשֵׁרָֽה׃la.'a.she.RahH842.

8And he broughtוַיָּבֵ֤אvai.ya.Ve'H935all the priestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548out of the citiesמֵעָרֵ֣יme.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,and defiledוַיְטַמֵּ֣אvay.ta.Me'H2930the high placesהַבָּמ֗וֹתha.ba.MotH1116where the priestsהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםha.Ko.ha.NimH3548had burned incenseקִטְּרוּ־ki.te.ru-H6999,from Gebaמִגֶּ֖בַעmi.Ge.va'H1387to Beer–shebaH884,and brake downוְנָתַ֞ץve.na.TatzH5422the high placesבָּמ֣וֹתba.MotH1116of the gatesהַשְּׁעָרִ֗יםha.she.'a.RimH8179that werein the entering inפֶּ֜תַחPe.tachH6607of the gateשַׁ֤עַרSha.'arH8179of Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ye.ho.Shu.a'H3091the governorשַׂר־sar-H8269of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892, which wereon a man’sאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376left handשְׂמֹ֥אולse.MolH8040at the gateבְּשַׁ֥עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179of the cityהָעִֽיר׃ha.'IrH5892.

9Nevertheless the priestsכֹּהֲנֵ֣יko.ha.NeiH3548of the high placesהַבָּמ֔וֹתha.ba.MotH1116came not upיַֽעֲלוּ֙ya.'a.LuH5927to the altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389,but they did eatאָכְל֥וּ'a.khe.LuH398of the unleavened breadמַצּ֖וֹתma.TzotH4682amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432their brethrenאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃'a.chei.HemH251.

10And he defiledוְטִמֵּ֣אve.ti.Me'H2930Tophethהַתֹּ֔פֶתha.To.fetH8612, which isin the valleyבְּגֵ֣יbe.GeiH1516of the childrenבֶןve.nei-H1121of Hinnomהִנֹּ֑םhi.NomH2011,that no manאִ֜ישׁ'ishH376might make his sonבְּנ֧וֹbe.NoH1121or his daughterבִּתּ֛וֹbi.ToH1323to pass throughלְהַעֲבִ֨ירle.ha.'a.VirH5674the fireבָּאֵ֖שׁba.'EshH784to Molechלַמֹּֽלֶךְ׃la.Mo.lekhH4432.

11And he took awayוַיַּשְׁבֵּ֣תvai.yash.BetH7673the horsesהַסּוּסִ֗יםha.su.SimH5483that the kingsמַלְכֵ֨יmal.KheiH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֤הye.hu.DahH3063had givenנָתְנוּ֩na.te.NuH5414to the sunלַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙la.She.meshH8121,at the entering inמִבֹּ֣אmi.Bo'H935of the houseבֵית־veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,by the chamberלִשְׁכַּת֙lish.KatH3957of Nathan–melechH5419the chamberlainהַסָּרִ֔יסha.sa.RisH5631, which wasin the suburbsבַּפַּרְוָרִ֑יםba.par.va.RimH6503,and burnedשָׂרַ֥ףsa.RafH8313the chariotsמַרְכְּב֥וֹתmar.ke.VotH4818of the sunהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁha.She.meshH8121with fireבָּאֵֽשׁ׃ba.'EshH784.

12And the altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּח֡וֹתha.miz.be.ChotH4196that wereon the topהַגָּג֩ha.GagH1406of the upper chamberעֲלִיַּ֨ת'a.li.YatH5944of Ahazאָחָ֜ז'a.ChazH271,which the kingsמַלְכֵ֣יmal.KheiH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063had madeעָשׂ֣וּ׀'a.SuH6213,and the altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּחוֹת֙ha.miz.be.chOtH4196which Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֔הme.na.ShehH4519had madeעָשָׂ֣ה'a.SahH6213in the twoבִּשְׁתֵּ֛יbish.TeiH8147courtsחַצְר֥וֹתchatz.RotH2691of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,did the kingהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428beat downנָתַ֣ץna.TatzH5422, and brake themdownוַיָּ֣רָץvai.Ya.rotzH7323from thence, and castוְהִשְׁלִ֥יךְve.hish.LikhH7993the dustעֲפָרָ֖ם'a.fa.RamH6083of them into the brookנַ֥חַלNa.chalH5158Kidronקִדְרֽוֹן׃kid.RonH6939.

13And the high placesהַבָּמ֞וֹתha.ba.MotH1116that werebeforeפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֗םye.ru.sha.LimH3389, which wereon the right handמִימִ֣יןmi.MinH3225of the mountלְהַר־le.har-H2022of corruptionהַמַּשְׁחִית֒ha.mash.ChitH4889,which Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֨הshe.lo.MohH8010the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478had buildedבָּ֠נָהBa.nahH1129for Ashtorethלְעַשְׁתֹּ֣רֶת׀le.'ash.To.retH6253the abominationשִׁקֻּ֣ץshi.KutzH8251of the Zidoniansצִידֹנִ֗יםtzi.do.NimH6722,and for Chemoshוְלִכְמוֹשׁ֙ve.likh.mo.VoshH3645the abominationשִׁקֻּ֣ץshi.KutzH8251of the Moabitesמוֹאָ֔בmo.'AvH4124,and for Milcomוּלְמִלְכֹּ֖םu.le.mil.KomH4445the abominationתּוֹעֲבַ֣תto.'a.VatH8441of the childrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Ammonעַמּ֑וֹןa.MonH5983,did the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428defileטִמֵּ֖אti.Me'H2930.

14And he brake in piecesוְשִׁבַּר֙ve.shi.BarH7665the imagesהַמַּצֵּב֔וֹתha.ma.tze.VotH4676,and cut downוַיִּכְרֹ֖תvai.yikh.RotH3772the grovesהָאֲשֵׁרִ֑יםha.'a.she.RimH842,and filledוַיְמַלֵּ֥אvay.ma.Le'H4390their placesמְקוֹמָ֖םme.ko.MamH4725with the bonesעַצְמ֥וֹתatz.MotH6106of menאָדָֽם׃'a.DamH120.

15Moreover the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַha.miz.Be.achH4196that wasat Beth–elH1008, andthe high placeהַבָּמָה֙ha.ba.MahH1116which Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֤םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָט֙ne.VatH5028,who made Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478to sinהֶחֱטִ֣יאhe.che.Ti'H2398,had madeעָשָׂ֜ה'a.SahH6213,both that altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֧חַha.miz.Be.achH4196and the high placeהַבָּמָ֖הha.ba.MahH1116he brake downנָתָ֑ץna.TatzH5422,and burnedוַיִּשְׂרֹ֧ףvai.yis.RofH8313the high placeהַבָּמָ֛הha.ba.MahH1116, andstampedהֵדַ֥קhe.DakH1854itsmall to powderלְעָפָ֖רle.'a.FarH6083,and burnedוְשָׂרַ֥ףve.sa.RafH8313the groveאֲשֵׁרָֽה׃'a.she.RahH842.
