13GoH3212ye, enquireדִרְשׁ֨וּdir.ShuH1875of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068for me, and for the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971,and for all Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,concerning the wordsדִּבְרֵ֛יdiv.ReiH1697of this bookהַסֵּ֥פֶרha.Se.ferH5612that is foundהַנִּמְצָ֖אha.nim.Tza'H4672:for greatגְדוֹלָ֞הge.do.LahH1419isthe wrathחֲמַ֣תcha.MatH2534of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068that is kindledנִצְּתָ֣הni.tze.TahH3341against us, because our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1have not hearkenedשָׁמְע֜וּsha.me.'UH8085unto the wordsדִּבְרֵי֙div.ReiH1697of this bookהַסֵּ֣פֶרha.Se.ferH5612,to doלַעֲשׂ֖וֹתla.'a.SotH6213according unto all that which is writtenהַכָּת֥וּבha.ka.TuvH3789concerning us.

14So Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֣הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518the priestהַ֠כֹּהֵןHa.ko.henH3548,and Ahikamוַאֲחִיקָ֨םva.'a.chi.KamH296,and Achborוְעַכְבּ֜וֹרve.'akh.BorH5907,and Shaphanוְשָׁפָ֣ןve.sha.FanH8227,and Asahiahוַעֲשָׂיָ֗הva.'a.sa.YahH6222,wentH3212unto Huldahחֻלְדָּ֨הchul.DahH2468the prophetessהַנְּבִיאָ֜הha.ne.vi.'AhH5031,the wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת׀'E.shetH802of Shallumשַׁלֻּ֣םsha.LumH7967the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Tikvahתִּקְוָ֗הtik.VahH8616,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Harhasחַרְחַס֙char.ChasH2745,keeperשֹׁמֵ֣רsho.MerH8104of the wardrobeהַבְּגָדִ֔יםha.be.ga.DimH899; (now she dweltיֹשֶׁ֥בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389in the collegeבַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑הba.mish.NehH4932;)and they communedוַֽיְדַבְּר֖וּvay.da.be.RuH1696with her.

15And she saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559unto them, Thus saithאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,Tellאִמְר֣וּ'im.RuH559the manלָאִ֔ישׁla.'IshH376that sentשָׁלַ֥חsha.LachH7971you to me,

16Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,Behold, I will bringמֵבִ֥יאme.Vi'H935evilרָעָ֛הra.'AhH7451upon this placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and upon the inhabitantsיֹֽשְׁבָ֑יוyo.she.VavH3427thereof, evenall the wordsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of the bookהַסֵּ֔פֶרha.Se.ferH5612which the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063hath readקָרָ֖אka.Ra'H7121:

17Because they have forsakenעֲזָב֗וּנִי'a.za.Vu.niH5800me, and have burned incenseוַֽיְקַטְּרוּ֙vay.ka.te.RuH6999unto otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֣יםle.lo.HimH430,that they might provoke me to angerהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִיhakh.'i.Se.niH3707with all the worksמַעֲשֵׂ֣הma.'a.SehH4639of their handsיְדֵיהֶ֑םye.dei.HemH3027;therefore my wrathחֲמָתִ֛יcha.ma.TiH2534shall be kindledוְנִצְּתָ֧הve.ni.tze.TahH3341against this placeבַּמָּק֥וֹםba.ma.KomH4725,and shall not be quenchedתִכְבֶּֽה׃tikh.BehH3518.

18But to the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063which sentהַשֹּׁלֵ֤חַha.sho.Le.achH7971you to enquireלִדְרֹ֣שׁlid.RoshH1875of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,thus shall ye sayתֹאמְר֖וּto.me.RuH559to him, Thus saithאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, As touchingthe wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697which thou hast heardשָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃sha.Ma.'e.taH8085;
