2Sixteenשֵׁ֨שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֤הshesh 'es.RehH6240 H8337yearsשָׁנָה֙sha.NahH8141oldבֶּן־ben-H1121was he when he began to reignבְמָלְכ֔וֹve.ma.le.KhoH4427,and he reignedמָלַ֖ךְma.LakhH4427twoוּשְׁתַּ֙יִם֙u.she.Ta.yimH8147and fiftyוַחֲמִשִּׁ֤יםva.cha.mi.ShimH2572yearsשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389.And his mother’sאִמּ֔וֹ'i.MoH517nameוְשֵׁ֣םve.ShemH8034wasJecholiahיְכָלְיָ֖הוּye.khal.Ya.huH3203of Jerusalemמִירוּשָׂלִָֽם׃mi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

3And he didוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213that which wasrightהַיָּשָׁ֖רhai.ya.SharH3477in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,according to all that his fatherאָבִֽיו׃'a.VivH1Amaziahאֲמַצְיָ֥הוּ'a.matz.Ya.huH558had doneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213;

4Save that the high placesהַבָּמ֖וֹתha.ba.MotH1116were not removedסָ֑רוּSa.ruH5493:the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971sacrificedמְזַבְּחִ֥יםme.za.be.ChimH2076and burnt incenseוּֽמְקַטְּרִ֖יםu.me.ka.te.RimH6999still on the high placesבַּבָּמֽוֹת׃ba.ba.MotH1116.

5And the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068smoteוַיְנַגַּ֨עvay.na.Ga'H5060the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,so that he was a leperמְצֹרָע֙me.tzo.Ra'H6879unto the dayי֣וֹםYomH3117of his deathמֹת֔וֹmo.ToH4194,and dweltוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427in a severalהַחָפְשִׁ֑יתha.cha.fe.ShitH2669houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004.And Jothamוְיוֹתָ֤םve.yo.TamH3147the king’sהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428sonבֶּן־ben-H1121wasover the houseהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,judgingשֹׁפֵ֖טsho.FetH8199the peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.
