Context of John 15:24
22If I hadn’t come and spoken to them, they wouldn’t have any sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. 23The person who hates me also hates my Father. If I hadn’t done among them what no one else has done, they wouldn’t have any sin. But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. 25In this way what is written in their Scriptures has come true: ‘They hate me for no reason.’ 26“The helper whom I will send to you from the Father will come. This helper, the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, will declare the truth about me.

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 24The works which none other man did - The miracles of Jesus surpassed those of Moses and the prophets: 1.In their number. He healed great multitudes, and no small part of his life was occupied in doing good by miraculous power. 2.In their nature. They involved a greater exertion of power. He healed all forms of disease. He showed that his power was superior to all kinds of pain. He raised Lazarus after he had been four days dead. He probably refers also to…Read the comment
- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 18-25Verses 18-25 How little do many persons think, that in opposing the doctrine of Christ as our Prophet, Priest, and King, they prove themselves ignorant of the one living and true God, whom they profess to worship! The name into which Christ's disciples were baptized, is that which they will live and die by. It is a comfort to the greatest sufferers, if they suffer for Christ's name's sake. The world's ignorance is the true cause of its hatred to the…Read the comment
