AfflictionH6869 will notH3808 rise upH6965 a second timeH6471.10ForH3588 they will be entangledH5440 as withH5704 thornsH5518 and consumedH398 like the drinkH5435 of a drunkardH5433— like stubbleH7179 that is fullyH4392 dryH3002.11From youH4480, O Nineveh, comes forthH3318 a plotterH2803 of evilH7451 againstH5921 the LORDH3068, a counselorH3289 of wickednessH1100.
12This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:
“ThoughH518 they are alliedH8003H3651 and numerousH7227,yetH3651 they will be cut downH1494 and pass awayH5674.Though I have afflicted youH6031, O Judah,I will afflictH6031 you noH3808 longerH5750.13For I will nowH6258 breakH7665 their yokeH4132 from your neckH5921and tear awayH5423 your shacklesH4147.”
14The LORDH3068 has issued a commandH6680 concerning youH5921, O Nineveh:
“There will be noH3808 descendantsH2232to carry on your nameH8034H5750.I will cut offH3772 the carved imageH6459 and cast idolH4541from the houseH1004 of your godsH430;I will prepareH7760 your graveH6913,forH3588 you are contemptibleH7043.”
