Nahum 1:9-13
9WhateverH4100 you plotH2803 againstH413 the LORDH3068, HeH1931 will bringH6213 to an endH3617. AfflictionH6869 will notH3808 rise upH6965 a second timeH6471.10ForH3588 they will be entangledH5440 as withH5704 thornsH5518 and consumedH398 like the drinkH5435 of a drunkardH5433— like stubbleH7179 that is fullyH4392 dryH3002.11From youH4480, O Nineveh, comes forthH3318 a plotterH2803 of evilH7451 againstH5921 the LORDH3068, a counselorH3289 of wickednessH1100.
12This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:
“ThoughH518 they are alliedH8003H3651 and numerousH7227,yetH3651 they will be cut downH1494 and pass awayH5674.Though I have afflicted youH6031, O Judah,I will afflictH6031 you noH3808 longerH5750.13For I will nowH6258 breakH7665 their yokeH4132 from your neckH5921and tear awayH5423 your shacklesH4147.”
