Context of Luke 8:35
33Then the demons came out of the man and entered into the pigs. The herd rushed down the cliff into the lake and was drowned. 34But when the herdsmen saw what happened, they ran away and reported it in the town and countryside. People went out to see what had happened. They came to Yeshua and found the man from whom the demons had gone—clothed and in his right mind, sitting at the feet of Yeshua. And they were frightened. 36Now those who had seen it reported how the demon-plagued man had been restored. 37And all the people from the region surrounding the Gerasenes asked Yeshua to go away from them because they were overcome by great fear. So He got into a boat and returned.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 22-40Verses 22-40 Those that put to sea in a calm, even at Christ's word, must yet prepare for a storm, and for great peril in that storm. When our dangers are over, it becomes us to take to ourselves the shame of our own fears, and to give Christ the glory of our deliverance. We may learn much out of…Read the comment
