Context of Luke 20:24
22Is it permitted for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?” 23But carefully considering their treachery, Yeshua said to them, “Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?” And they said, “Caesar’s.” 25Then He said to them, “Well then, give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” 26And they could not trap Him in His words in the presence of the people. Astonished by His answer, they kept silent.
