Context of Luke 19:15
13And calling ten of his own slaves, he gave them ten minas and said to them, ‘Do business until I come back.’ 14But his citizens detested him and they sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this fellow to reign over us!’ When he returned after receiving the kingdom, he called for those slaves to whom he had given the money. He wanted to know how much business they had done. 16Now the first appeared, saying, ‘Master, your one mina has made ten.’ 17The master said to him, ‘Well done, good slave! Because you were faithful with so little, take charge over ten cities.’

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 11-27Verses 11-27 This parable is like that of the talents, Mt 25. Those that are called to Christ, he furnishes with gifts needful for their business; and from those to whom he gives power, he expects service. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal, 1Co 12:7. And as every one has received the gift, so let him minister the same, 1Pe 4:10.
