Context of Acts 21:5
3When we came in sight of Cyprus, passing it by on the left, we kept sailing to Syria and landed at Tyre—for there the ship was to unload the cargo. 4We looked up the disciples and stayed there seven days. They kept telling Paul through the Ruach not to set foot in Jerusalem. When our days there were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, accompanied us until we were outside the city. After kneeling down on the shore and praying, 6we said farewell to one another. Then we boarded the ship, and they returned home. 7When we had finished the trip from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais. We greeted the brothers and sisters and stayed with them for one day.

Commentaries on Acts 21:5
- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 5When we had accomplished those days - That is, the seven days mentioned in the preceding verse. And they all brought us on our way, with wives and children - It is not likely that Paul, Silas, Luke, etc., had either wives or children with them; and it is more natural to suppose that the brethren of Tyre, with their wives and children are those that are meant; these, through affection to the apostles, accompanied them from their homes to the ship; and the…Read the comment
