Revised Version 1895
Judges 8:5-9
5And he saidH559 unto the menH376 of SuccothH5523, GiveH5414, I prayH4994 youH834, loavesH3899 of breadH3899 unto the peopleH5971 that followH310 meH5414; for they be faintH5889, and I am pursuingH7291 afterH310 ZebahH2078 and ZalmunnaH6759, the kingsH4428 of MidianH4080.
6And the princesH8269 of SuccothH5523 saidH559, Are the handsH3027 of ZebahH2078 and ZalmunnaH6759 nowH6258 in thine handH3027, that weH3588 should giveH5414 breadH3899 unto thine armyH6635?
7And GideonH1439 saidH559: Therefore when the LORDH3068 hath deliveredH5414 ZebahH2078 and ZalmunnaH6759 intoH3027 mine handH3027, then I will tear your fleshH1320 with the thornsH6975 of the wildernessH4057 and with briersH1303.
8And he wentH5927 upH5927 thence to PenuelH6439, and spake unto them in like manner: and the menH376 of PenuelH6439 answeredH6030 him as the menH376 of SuccothH5523 had answeredH6030.
9And he spake also unto the menH376 of PenuelH6439, sayingH559, When I comeH7725 againH7725 in peaceH7965, I will breakH5422 downH5422 this towerH4026.
