Revised Version 1895
Judges 7:10-20
But ifH518 thou fearH3373 to goH3381 downH3381, goH3381 thou with PurahH6513 thy servantH5288 downH3381 to the campH4264:
and thou shalt hearH8085 whatH4100 they sayH1696; and afterwardH310 shall thine handsH3027 be strengthenedH2388 to goH3381 downH3381 intoH413 the campH4264. Then wentH3381 he downH3381 with PurahH6513 his servantH5288 unto the outermost partH3027 of the armed menH5288 that were in the campH4264.
And the MidianitesH4080 and the AmalekitesH6002 and allH3605 the childrenH1121 of the eastH6924 layH5307 alongH5921 in the valleyH6010 like locustsH697 for multitudeH7230; and their camelsH1581 were withoutH369 numberH4557, as the sandH2344 which is uponH5921 the seaH3220 shoreH8193 for multitudeH7230.
And when GideonH1439 was comeH935, beholdH2009, there was a manH376 that toldH559 a dreamH2472 unto his fellowH376, and saidH559, BeholdH2009, I dreamedH2492 a dreamH2472, and, loH2009, a cake of barleyH8184 breadH3899 tumbled intoH935 the campH4264 of MidianH4080, and cameH935 unto the tentH168, and smoteH5221 it that it fellH5307, and turnedH2015 it upsideH4605 downH5221, that the tentH168 layH5307 alongH5704.
And his fellowH376 answeredH559 and saidH559, This is nothingH369 elseH3027 save the swordH2719 of GideonH1439 the sonH1121 of JoashH3101, a manH376 of IsraelH3478: intoH376 his handH3027 GodH430 hath deliveredH5414 MidianH4080, and allH3605 the hostH4264.
And it was soH1961, when GideonH1439 heardH8085 the tellingH559 of the dreamH2472, and the interpretationH7667 thereof, that he worshipped; and he returnedH7725 intoH413 the campH4264 of IsraelH3478, and saidH559, AriseH6965; for the LORDH3068 hath deliveredH5414 intoH413 your handH3027 the hostH4264 of MidianH4080.
And he dividedH2673 the threeH7969 hundredH3967 menH376 intoH8432 threeH7969 companiesH7218, and he putH5414 intoH8432 the handsH3027 of allH3605 of them trumpetsH7782, and emptyH7386 pitchersH3537, with torchesH3940 withinH8432 the pitchersH3537.
And he saidH559 unto them, LookH2009 on meH413, and doH6213 likewise: and, beholdH2009, when I comeH935 to the outermost partH4480 of the campH4264, it shall be that, as I doH6213, soH3651 shall ye doH6213.
When I blowH8628 the trumpetH7782, I and allH3605 that are with meH834, then blowH8628 ye the trumpetsH7782 also on everyH3605 sideH5439 of allH3605 the campH4264, and sayH559, For the LORDH3068 and for GideonH1439.
SoH834 GideonH1439, and the hundredH3967 menH376 that were with him, cameH935 unto the outermost partH3027 of the campH4264 in the beginningH7218 of the middleH8484 watchH8104, when they had but newly setH6965 the watchH8104: and they blewH8628 the trumpetsH7782, and brake in pieces the pitchersH3537 that were in their handsH3027.
And the threeH7969 companiesH7218 blewH8628 the trumpetsH7782, and brake the pitchersH3537, and heldH2388 the torchesH3940 in their leftH8040 handsH3027, and the trumpetsH7782 in their rightH3225 handsH3027 to blowH8628 withal: and they criedH7121, The swordH2719 of the LORDH3068 and of GideonH1439.
