Judges 6:20-27

And the angelH4397 of GodH430 saidH559 unto him, TakeH3947 the fleshH1320 and the unleavenedH4682 cakesH4682, and lay them uponH413 this rockH5553, and pourH8210 outH8210 the brothH4839. And he didH6213 soH3651.

Then the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 putH7971 forthH7971 the endH7097 of the staffH4938 that was in his handH3027, and touchedH5060 the fleshH1320 and the unleavenedH4682 cakesH4682; and there wentH1980 upH5927 fireH784 outH4480 of the rockH6697, and consumedH398 the fleshH1320 and the unleavenedH4682 cakesH4682; and the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 departedH1980 outH4480 of his sightH5869.

And GideonH1439 sawH7200 that he was the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068; and GideonH1439 saidH559, AlasH162, O LordH3068 GODH3068! forasmuch as I have seenH7200 the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 faceH6440 to faceH6440.

And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto him, PeaceH7965 be unto thee; fearH3372 notH3808: thou shalt notH3808 dieH4191.

Then GideonH1439 builtH1129 an altarH4196 there unto the LORDH3068, and calledH7121 it Jehovah-shalom: unto this dayH3117 it is yet in OphrahH6084 of the AbiezritesH33.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961 the sameH1931 nightH3915, that the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto him, TakeH3947 thy father’sH1 bullock, evenH853 the secondH8145 bullock of sevenH7651 yearsH8141 oldH8141, and throw downH3772 the altarH4196 of BaalH1168 that thy fatherH1 hath, and cutH3772 downH3772 the AsherahH842 that is by it:

and buildH1129 an altarH4196 unto the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 uponH5921 the topH7218 of this strongH4581 hold, in the orderlyH4634 mannerH4634, and takeH3947 the secondH8145 bullock, and offerH5927 a burntH5930 offering with the woodH6086 of the AsherahH842 whichH834 thou shalt cutH3772 downH3772.

Then GideonH1439 tookH3947 tenH6235 menH376 of his servantsH5650, and didH6213 as the LORDH3068 had spokenH1696 unto him: and it cameH1961 to passH1961, becauseH834 he fearedH3372 his father’sH1 householdH1004 and the menH376 of the cityH5892, soH6213 that he couldH376 notH1961 doH6213 it by dayH3119, that he didH6213 it by nightH3915.
