Revised Version 1895
Judges 4:6-15
And sheH7121 sentH7971 and calledH7121 BarakH1301 the sonH1121 of AbinoamH42 outH7971 of Kedesh-naphtali, and saidH559 unto him, Hath notH3808 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, commandedH6680, sayingH559, GoH7971 and drawH4900 unto mountH2022 TaborH8396, and takeH3947 with thee tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 of the childrenH1121 of NaphtaliH5321 and of the childrenH1121 of ZebulunH2074?
And I will drawH4900 unto thee to the riverH5158 KishonH7028 SiseraH5516, the captainH8269 of Jabin’sH2985 armyH6635, with his chariotsH7393 and his multitudeH1995; and I will deliverH5414 him intoH413 thine handH3027.
And BarakH1301 saidH559 unto herH413, IfH518 thou wilt goH1980 with meH413, then I will goH1980: but ifH518 thou wilt notH3808 goH1980 with meH413, I will notH3808 goH1980.
And sheH834 saidH559, I will surelyH3588 goH1980 with thee: notwithstanding the journeyH1870 that thou takest shall notH3808 be for thine honour; for the LORDH3068 shall sellH4376 SiseraH5516 intoH1980 the handH3027 of a womanH802. And DeborahH1683 aroseH6965, and wentH1980 with BarakH1301 to KedeshH6943.
And BarakH1301 calledH2199 ZebulunH2074 and NaphtaliH5321 togetherH2199 to KedeshH6943; and there wentH5927 upH5927 tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 at his feetH7272: and DeborahH1683 wentH5927 upH5927 with him.
Now HeberH2268 the KeniteH7017 had severed himselfH6504 from the KenitesH7017, evenH5704 from the childrenH1121 of HobabH2246 the brother in law of MosesH4872, and had pitchedH5186 his tentH168 as farH5704 as the oakH436 in ZaanannimH6815, whichH834 is by KedeshH6943.
And they toldH5046 SiseraH5516 that BarakH1301 the sonH1121 of AbinoamH42 was goneH5927 upH5927 to mountH2022 TaborH8396.
And SiseraH5516 gathered togetherH2199 allH3605 his chariotsH7393, evenH853 nineH8672 hundredH3967 chariotsH7393 of ironH1270, and allH3605 the peopleH5971 that were with him, from Harosheth of the GentilesH1471, unto the riverH5158 KishonH7028.
And DeborahH1683 saidH559 unto BarakH1301, UpH6965; for this is the dayH3117 in whichH834 the LORDH3068 hath deliveredH5414 SiseraH5516 intoH413 thine handH3027: is notH3808 the LORDH3068 goneH3318 outH3318 beforeH6440 thee? SoH5414 BarakH1301 wentH3318 downH3381 from mountH2022 TaborH8396, and tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 afterH310 him.
And the LORDH3068 discomfited SiseraH5516, and allH3605 his chariotsH7393, and allH3605 his hostH4264, with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719 beforeH6440 BarakH1301; and SiseraH5516 lighted downH3381 from his chariotH4818, and fledH5127 awayH5127 on his feetH7272.
