Judges 3:11-30
And the landH776 had restH8252 fortyH705 yearsH8141. And OthnielH6274 the sonH1121 of KenazH7073 diedH4191.
And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 againH3254 didH6213 that whichH5869 was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068: and the LORDH3068 strengthenedH2388 EglonH5700 the kingH4428 of MoabH4124 againstH5921 IsraelH3478, becauseH3588 they had doneH6213 that whichH5869 was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068.
And he gatheredH622 unto him the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983 and AmalekH6002; and wentH413 and smoteH5221 IsraelH3478, and they possessedH3423 the cityH5892 of palmH8558 treesH8558.
And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 servedH5647 EglonH5700 the kingH4428 of MoabH4124 eighteenH6240 yearsH8141.
But when the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 criedH2199 unto the LORDH3068, the LORDH3068 raisedH6965 them upH6965 a saviour, EhudH164 the sonH1121 of GeraH1617, the BenjamiteH1145, a manH376 lefthanded: and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 sentH7971 a presentH4503 by him unto EglonH5700 the kingH4428 of MoabH4124.
And EhudH164 madeH6213 him a swordH2719 whichH2719 had twoH8147 edgesH6366, of a cubitH1574 lengthH753; and he girdedH2296 it underH8478 his raiment uponH5921 his rightH3225 thighH3409.
And he offeredH7126 the presentH7126 unto EglonH5700 kingH4428 of MoabH4124: now EglonH5700 was a veryH3966 fatH1277 manH376.
And when he had madeH1961 an endH3615 of offering the presentH7126, he sentH7971 awayH7971 the peopleH5971 that bareH3615 the presentH7126.
But he himselfH1931 turnedH7725 backH7725 from the quarries that were by GilgalH1537, and saidH559, I have a secret errand unto thee, O kingH4428. And he saidH559, KeepH2013 silenceH2013. And allH3605 that stoodH5975 by him wentH3318 outH3318 from him.
And EhudH164 cameH935 unto him; and he was sittingH3427 by himselfH1931 aloneH905 in his summer parlour. And EhudH164 saidH559, I have a messageH1697 from GodH430 unto thee. And he aroseH6965 outH5921 of his seatH3678.
And EhudH164 putH7971 forthH7971 his leftH8040 handH3027, and tookH3947 the swordH2719 from his rightH3225 thighH3409, and thrustH8628 it intoH5921 his bellyH990:
and the haft also wentH3318 in afterH310 the bladeH3851; and the fatH2459 closedH5462 uponH935 the bladeH3851, for he drewH8025 notH3808 the swordH2719 outH3318 of his bellyH990; and it cameH935 outH3318 behindH310.
Then EhudH164 wentH3318 forthH3318 intoH3318 the porch, and shutH5462 the doorsH1817 of the parlour upon him, and lockedH5462 them.
NowH2009 when he was goneH3318 outH3318, his servantsH5650 cameH935; and they sawH7200, and, beholdH2009, the doorsH1817 of the parlour were locked; and they saidH559, SurelyH389 he covereth his feetH7272 in his summer chamberH5944.
And they tarried tillH5704 they were ashamedH954: and, beholdH2009, he openedH6605 notH369 the doorsH1817 of the parlour; therefore they tookH3947 the keyH4668, and openedH6605 them: and, beholdH2009, their lordH113 was fallenH5307 downH5307 deadH4191 on the earthH776.
And EhudH164 escapedH4422 whileH5704 they tarried, and passedH5674 beyondH5704 the quarries, and escapedH4422 unto SeirahH8167.
And it cameH935 to passH935, when he was comeH935, that he blewH8628 a trumpetH7782 in the hillH2022 countryH2022 of EphraimH669, and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 wentH935 downH3381 with him from the hillH2022 countryH2022, and he beforeH6440 them.
And he saidH559 unto them, FollowH310 afterH310 meH413: for the LORDH3068 hath deliveredH5414 your enemiesH341 the MoabitesH4124 intoH413 your handH3027. And they wentH3381 downH3381 afterH310 him, and tookH3920 the fords of JordanH3383 againstH413 the MoabitesH4124, and suffered notH3808 a manH376 to passH5674 over.
And they smoteH5221 of MoabH4124 at that time aboutH5221 tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376, everyH3605 lusty manH376, and everyH3605 manH376 of valour; and there escapedH4422 notH3808 a manH376.
SoH3027 MoabH4124 was subduedH3665 that dayH3117 underH8478 the handH3027 of IsraelH3478. And the landH776 had restH8252 fourscore yearsH8141.
