Judges 16:5-17
And the lordsH5633 of the PhilistinesH6430 cameH5927 upH5927 unto herH413, and saidH559 unto herH413, Entice him, and seeH7200 wherein his greatH1419 strengthH3581 lieth, and by whatH4100 meansH5927 weH587 may prevailH3201 againstH413 him, that weH587 may bindH631 him to afflictH6031 him: and weH587 will giveH5414 thee everyH376 one of usH5414 eleven hundredH3967 pieces of silverH3701.
And DelilahH1807 saidH559 to SamsonH8123, TellH5046 meH413, I prayH4994 thee, wherein thy greatH1419 strengthH3581 lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be boundH631 to afflictH6031 thee.
And SamsonH8123 saidH559 unto herH413, IfH518 they bindH631 meH413 with sevenH7651 greenH3892 withes that were neverH3808 dried, then shall I becomeH1961 weakH3808, and be as anotherH259 manH120.
Then the lordsH5633 of the PhilistinesH6430 broughtH5927 upH5927 to her sevenH7651 greenH3892 withes whichH834 had notH3808 been dried, and sheH834 boundH631 him with them.
Now sheH834 had liers in waitH693 abiding in the innerH2315 chamberH2315. And sheH834 saidH559 unto him, The PhilistinesH6430 be uponH5921 thee, SamsonH8123. And he brake the withes, as a stringH6616 of towH5296 is brokenH5423 when it toucheth the fireH784. SoH3808 his strengthH3581 was notH3808 knownH3045.
And DelilahH1807 saidH559 unto SamsonH8123, BeholdH2009, thou hast mockedH2048 meH413, and toldH5046 meH413 liesH3576: nowH6258 tellH5046 meH413, I prayH4994 thee, wherewith thou mightest be boundH631.
And he saidH559 unto herH413, IfH518 they onlyH518 bindH631 meH413 with newH2319 ropesH5688 wherewith noH3808 workH4399 hath been doneH6213, then shall I becomeH1961 weakH3808, and be as anotherH259 manH120.
SoH3947 DelilahH1807 tookH3947 newH2319 ropesH5688, and boundH631 him therewith, and saidH559 unto him, The PhilistinesH6430 be uponH5921 thee, SamsonH8123. And the liers in waitH693 were abiding in the innerH2315 chamberH2315. And he brake them from offH5921 his armsH2220 like a threadH2339.
And DelilahH1807 saidH559 unto SamsonH8123, Hitherto thou hast mockedH2048 meH413, and toldH5046 meH413 liesH3576: tellH5046 meH413 wherewith thou mightest be boundH631. And he saidH559 unto herH413, IfH518 thou weavest the sevenH7651 locksH4253 of my headH7218 with the webH4545.
And she fastenedH8628 it with the pinH3489, and saidH559 unto him, The PhilistinesH6430 be uponH5921 thee, SamsonH8123. And he awaked outH5265 of his sleepH8142, and pluckedH5265 away the pinH3489 of the beam, and the webH4545.
And sheH3820 saidH559 unto him, HowH4100 canst thou sayH559, I loveH157 thee, when thine heartH3820 is notH3808 with meH413? thou hast mockedH2048 meH413 theseH2088 threeH7969 timesH6471, and hast notH3808 toldH5046 meH413 wherein thy greatH1419 strengthH3581 lieth.
And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when sheH3588 pressedH6693 him dailyH3117 with herH3605 wordsH1697, and urgedH509 him, that his soulH5315 was vexed unto deathH4191.
And he toldH5046 herH3605 allH3605 his heartH3820, and saidH559 unto herH3605, There hath notH3808 comeH1961 a razor uponH5921 mineH4480 headH7218; for I have been a NaziriteH5139 unto GodH430 from my mother’sH517 wombH990: ifH518 I be shaven, then my strengthH3581 will goH5927 from meH5046, and I shall becomeH1961 weakH3808, and be like anyH3605 otherH3605 manH120.
