Revised Version 1895
Judges 14:1-5
1And SamsonH8123 wentH3381 downH3381 to TimnahH8553, and sawH7200 a womanH802 in TimnahH8553 of the daughtersH1323 of the PhilistinesH6430.
2And he cameH5927 upH5927, and toldH5046 his fatherH1 and his motherH517, and saidH559, I have seenH7200 a womanH802 in TimnahH8553 of the daughtersH1323 of the PhilistinesH6430: nowH6258 therefore getH3947 herH5046 for meH5046 to wifeH802.
3Then his fatherH1 and his motherH517 saidH559 unto him, Is there neverH369 a womanH802 among the daughtersH1323 of thy brethrenH251, or among allH3605 my peopleH5971, that thou goest to takeH3947 a wifeH802 of the uncircumcisedH6189 PhilistinesH6430? And SamsonH8123 saidH559 unto his fatherH1, GetH3947 herH3605 for meH413; for sheH1931 pleaseth meH413 well.
4But his fatherH1 and his motherH517 knewH3045 notH3808 that it was of the LORDH3068; for he soughtH1245 an occasion against the PhilistinesH6430. NowH3588 at that time the PhilistinesH6430 had ruleH4910 over IsraelH3478.
5Then wentH935 SamsonH8123 downH3381, and his fatherH1 and his motherH517, to TimnahH8553, and cameH935 to the vineyardsH3754 of TimnahH8553: and, beholdH2009, a youngH3715 lionH738 roaredH7580 againstH7125 him.
