Hosea 14
Revised Version 1895
1O ISRAEL, return unto the LORD thy GodH430; for thou hast fallenH5307 by thine iniquity. 2TakeH7725 with youH3588 words, and returnH7725 unto the LORDH3068: sayH3478 unto him, TakeH7725 awayH7725 allH5704 iniquityH5771, and accept that which is good: soH7725 will weH3588 renderH7725 as bullocks the offering of our lips. 3Asshur shall not save usH413; weH3605 will not ride uponH413 horses: neitherH5973 will weH3605 sayH559 anyH3605 more to the workH1697 of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercyH3068. 4I will heal their backsliding, I will loveH7355 them freely: for mine anger is turned awayH5750 from him. 5I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. 6His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as LebanonH3844. 7They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and blossom as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of LebanonH3844. 8Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answeredH7725, and will regard him: I am like a green fir tree; from meH7725 is thy fruit found. 9Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them; but transgressors shall fallH4672 therein.
