Context of Isaiah 3:10
8Jerusalem certainly stumbles, Judah falls, for their words and their actions offend the Lord; they rebel against his royal authority. 9The look on their faces testifies to their guilt; like the people of Sodom they openly boast of their sin. Too bad for them! For they bring disaster on themselves. Tell the innocent it will go well with them, for they will be rewarded for what they have done. 11Too bad for the wicked sinners! For they will get exactly what they deserve. 12Oppressors treat my people cruelly; creditors rule over them. My people’s leaders mislead them; they give you confusing directions.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 10Say ye to the righteous - לצדיק letsaddik, the ל lamed is added here by one MS. and the Chaldee. The righteous is the person, Who fears God. Departs from evil. Walks according to the testimony of God. And expects and prepares for a glorious immortality. "Pronounce ye." - The reading of this verse is very dubious. The Septuagint for אמרו imru read נאסר neasor, or both, נאסר אמרו imru neasor, and לנו טוב לא כי ki lo tob lanu . , ̔ ̔ . Perhaps, for אמרו…Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 10Say ye to the righteous - The meaning of this verse and the following is sufficiently plain, though expositors have given some variety of interpretation. They declare a great principle of the divine administration similar to what is stated in Isaiah 1:19-20. Lowth reads it, Pronounce ye a blessing on the just; verily good (shall be to him).‘ That it shall be well - The word rendered well,‘ means good.‘ The sense evidently is, that in the divine…Read the comment

He will call men to a strict account for all the wealth and power intrusted to and abused by them. If it is sinful to disregard the…Read the comment
